What is Pain Physiotherapy

Pain Physiotherapy is delivered by highly skilled Physiotherapists who undergo further tertiary education in pain management and a rigorous assessment by the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Pain Physiotherapy is focused on in-depth physical and bio-psycho-social assessments to determine the causative and contributing factors to your pain condition and develop an effective treatment and management plan for you.

Approach to Pain

Pain Physiotherapists understand the complexities of various pain conditions and have extensive knowledge of pain treatment and management.

We understand that pain is a neurological phenomenon that involves input of all body systems. This understanding is the foundation for adequate assessment of your pain condition and the development of a therapeutic approach to address your pain.

Pain is always a complex subjective experience. Therefore, as we are all different, no pain is the same. That is why there is no one-fits-all pain treatment for everyone. Your pain is unique to you. Your body. Your nervous system. Your life experiences and your individual story.

At Neurovia we listen to your story and we translate it for you into the language your nervous system speaks so we can together effectively manage your pain.
