Our Difference
Learn how our approach to physiotherapy at Neurovia differs from standard care, and how we support individuals experiencing pain or requiring neurological rehabilitation.
Here at Neurovia we are the experts at chronic pain treatment and prevention and neurological rehabilitation.
You are not alone on your journey to recovery, we are here to support you.
Our qualifications are unique!
Prior to becoming a Physiotherapist, Eve worked as a Myotherapist (Bachelor of Health Science) and Remedial Massage Therapist for 10 years. This means she has vast experience in providing hands-on treatments, trigger point therapy, assisted stretching, dry needling and electro needling as well as joint and nerve mobilisation.
Now, as a pain physiotherapist, Eve builds on this experience to offer the highest standard of diagnostic and therapeutic skills to address and alleviate her patients’ pain.
At Neurovia we understand that Physiotherapy is a hands-on modality, and we provide the highest level of soft-tissue treatments to relieve your pain.

Physiotherapy done differently
At Neurovia we actively choose to make a difference in how physiotherapy is delivered to make a lasting difference to your health and wellbeing.
Our unique and rare combination of qualifications in Pain Physiotherapy, Myotherapy and Remedial Massage means that we understand that there are many ways to deliver physiotherapy. We appreciate that everyone is different and so is their pain. That’s why at Neurovia, we adopt a holistic approach to physiotherapy that is patient centred and focused on delivering more than just exercise prescription and a heat pack on your back.
Our APA Titled Pain Physiotherapist, due to her Myotherapy and Remedial Massage background, has exceptional abilities to listen with her hands to your muscles and your nervous system, has superb hands-on skills that ensure the safest soft-tissue-based physiotherapy available and understands movement biomechanics and how to restore, adapt, maintain and prevent further loss of physical function in neurological conditions.
At Neurovia we don’t rush you through a 30min appointment. We offer extended consultations that allow us to listen to you carefully and to understand your pain. This in turn helps us to offer you a comprehensive individualised evidence-based treatment plan to support you on your pain and neurological rehabilitation journey.

Why is APA Titling Important
To qualify as a Pain Physiotherapist in Australia, therapists must complete both a physiotherapy degree and a Master of Science in Medicine in Pain Management.
The rigorous titling process is conducted by the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and involves the assessment of the physiotherapist’s qualifications and their work experience. If successful, the physiotherapist becomes an APA Titled Pain Physiotherapist and a member of the Australian College of Physiotherapist (MACP).
There are only a few APA Tilted Pain Physiotherapists in the Brisbane and this means this specialty is rare.
The APA Title is an indicator that your physiotherapy treatments are delivered by a physiotherapist who is highly skilled and knowledgeable in the treatment, management and prevention of chronic pain.
